Served Queen & Country 22yrs, I’d do it all again. It’s a shame we didn’t get looked after like they do in the USA, 🇺🇸 Thank you all for your service passed and present.

My father was one of wingates Chinditz ,the forgotten army.. I witnessed first hand the effects of war on him ,their only support was a few pints with friends at the British Legion.. we are more enlightened these days but not enough people are aware still…

I saw Simon Weston in T1 Heathrow many years ago. His story is inspiring.

I wanted to thank him personally for his tenacity, fortitude and good humour but didn’t have the confidence to speak to him.

Now, through the Armed Forces Pledge, have the opportunity to support all armed forces personnel and thank all for their dedication and loyalty to Britain and its people.

The Armed Forces and their families deserve all the support they can get as well as our thanks. I am proud to be married to a RAF veteran who served for 22 years, and my brother and sister were both in the RAF. My daughter is an Army wife.
