The Armed Forces and their families deserve all the support they can get as well as our thanks. I am proud to be married to a RAF veteran who served for 22 years, and my brother and sister were both in the RAF. My daughter is an Army wife.

My late father was a Lancaster bomber pilot during the war and then was a test pilot (among other things) in peace time. My late mother was one of 4 female flight engineers with the ATA during the war. May they and all who served never be forgotten,

Served for 31 years in RAF all over the world supplying power in aircraft hangers and electronic servicing centres. Also two tours in Northern Ireland during the troubles with photo recce and Army Air Corps. Thanks to all the brave lads and lassies who lost their lives during the conflict there. Be very proud of the commitment in the service you have joined. Thankyou for putting your own lives at risk to keep others safe in what I believe is becoming a more dangerous world.
