My son joined the Army in 1991 when he was 17 , I was one very proud mum, when he passed out at Winchester as overall best recruit, it was an amazing achievement, and I’m pleased to support all our servicemen and women. Thank you for your service .

As the wife of a Falklands Veteran who lost shipmates it’s important to remember those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice, those who still suffer the effects of war and those who today serve to protect us. Thank you

It has always annoyed me, and I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way, that veterans are remembered officially for one day a year. They deserve a lot more recognition and appreciation than is being given.

God bless them and their loved ones. Thank you for all your sacrifices x
