Janice Topping signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-11 08:27:25 +0100My son served and was traumatised by his time in Afghanistan. Unfortunately his PTSD was not acknowledged as he kept it hidden for so long, the specialised help was not offered soon enough and civilian mental health and addiction services were not equipped to help veterans as they have no understanding of the training our armed service personnel go through. When help was eventually offered it was too late and 4years ago he died by suicide.
