Ann Tomlinson signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-28 18:42:07 +0000Both parents served in WW1. Father soldier, mother nurse.
My mother carried the standard for the British Legion, the only woman to do so. As a child I would help my mother sell poppies. Both parents very proud of their contribution and I grew up with the same ethics. Both grandfathers served in WW1. One injured and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
Very proud of my family who gave so much. They would be horrified if they knew how our Country is today.Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans
