Both parents served in WW1. Father soldier, mother nurse.

My mother carried the standard for the British Legion, the only woman to do so. As a child I would help my mother sell poppies. Both parents very proud of their contribution and I grew up with the same ethics. Both grandfathers served in WW1. One injured and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

Very proud of my family who gave so much. They would be horrified if they knew how our Country is today.

To all those brave Men & Women who have served our Country, & for those that are still serving, I have so much admiration for you all. For those that have lost their lives, serving in conflicts of past & present, there will never be enough gratitude, for your life that was cut short.. You are all remembered, not just in November, but every day that passes. You are not forgotten.
