From the Second World War and National Service to the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served and sacrificed for our country. For some, the consequences of service last a lifetime.

    My grandad was killed at Venray in the 2nd world war, he’s buried at Groesbeek Cemetery.

    As a former Royal Marine, the Veterans Foundation is a cause I wholeheartedly support!! I am a Borneo veteran and there aren’t many of us left but for the thousands of serving and veteran personnel, the Foundation can be a life saver!! I urge all who are able and willing, to sign the pledge and support in any way you can – thank you!!!

    As a veteran myself I am very happy and pleased to help others who have served in the armed forces unfortunately some gave their lives.

    Veterans need all the help they can get. Our government don’t do enough
